Sept 20th – 180th Birthday Party and Sunday School kick off ! Join us after worship for a special 180th-anniversary potluck lunch (replacing coffee hour). Ham and cheesy potatoes will be provided! Please sign up to bring a side dish. We look forward to welcoming back former pastors and enjoying games, activities, and a dunk tank (weather permitting). A scarecrow decorating contest after worship, Scarecrows can be decorated by an individual, a family, a ministry team or a group. A straw bale will be provided – your group provides everything else! October 2 – Homecoming Tailgate/parade float: Kickoff Freeland’s homecoming festivities from the church parking lot. Enjoy food from food trucks beginning at 3pm. Play yard games. Music, games and much more! Move your lawn chairs or walk down to 3rd St. for the Homecoming parade that starts at 5:30pm.Feel free to bring your own tents, lawn chairs or food. Decorations and school spirit encouraged! NO ALCOHOL.
