Freeland UMC Children’s Ministry – Faith, Fun, and Family

Our Children’s Ministry provides a safe, caring, and faith-filled environment for kids of all ages. Families can enjoy worship together with resources like nursery care, church school, our interactive pray ground, and busy bags filled with activities for little hands. Each Sunday, children are invited to laugh, learn, and grow as they build a strong foundation of faith and experience God’s love in our church community. ( Ages 3years to 12 years )

➡️ Join Us This Sunday and See Your Child Grow in Faith!

Look what we have for kids!!
Nursery – There is a fully stocked nursery room for infants/toddlers if they get a little restless during worship. Parents/grandparents/caregiver can go into the nursery room anytime and continue listening to the service through the piped in speakers. The room contains age
appropriate toys, diapers, quiet space and a rocking chair for nursing mothers.
Church school – During worship, after youth time, children ages 4 years to 4th are excused to the Sunday school room. Lessons this year follow the curriculum from Simply Loved from Group
Publishing and are Bible based. Activities include stories, songs, crafts, music, games and projects. On Communion Sunday, students will be released back into the sanctuary to partake in communion with their families.
Prayground – there is space in the sanctuary, along the western wall in front of the stained glass window, with quiet activities for worship. If kids don’t want to go in the nursery or to church school, they can sit at this table (with parents nearby) to color, build Legos or work with
puzzles.
Busy bags – newly restocked busy bags are at the back of the sanctuary for kids of any age to use during worship. Bags include color sheets, crayons, small quiet toys to occupy hands and other special trinkets to use. Please place everything back into the bag after worship and leave
in the back of the church when done.
